Restaurant “Kovač čarda“

This best-known čarda is a freshwater fish restaurant in Suza. Its cozy wooden terrace complements the rustic ambiance filled with olden household items. There, the cuisine of Baranja is celebrated and freshwater fish a specialty.

The hosts pride themselves on their acclaimed fiš paprikaš – a freshwater fish stew irresistible even to the neighboring Hungarian regulars. Other delicacies include fish head bakanalija, perkelt of fish cheeks or frog legs, catfish čvarci and breaded milt.
